A Weekend in Frankenmuth, Michigan

13 December 2014

This weekend my family and I took a trip to Frankenmuth to celebrate the Christmas season right.

We got some lunch at Prost.

German Heritage: Locally made Kern’s Pistachio Jagdwurst, Braunschweiger, Summer Sausage, Willie’s Liver and Mushroom Pate with the house caraway and beer mustard, pickles, and sauerkraut.

The Classic Panini: Prosciutto and Capocolla, with roasted red peppers, summer greens, Mozzarella, and Italian vinaigrette.

After lunch, we got some coffee at Harvest Coffeehouse.

Then, we made our way to Bronner’s, the largest Christmas store in the world.

After shopping, we had dinner at Frankenmuth Brewery.

Some after dinner cheese shopping at the Cheese Haus.

And then a night cap to finish the night off.

Prost!
