Exploring Fenway Park

15 March 2017

During my latest trip to Boston, we spent an afternoon at Fenway Park. We took a stroll down Yawkey Way and stopped for lunch at Bleacher Bar, the restaurant beneath the centerfield bleachers of Fenway Park.

The location of Bleacher Bar had been used as field storage and the visiting team’s batting cage up until 2008, but now it’s a bar where you can get a taste of Fenway Park without actually buying a ticket.

Even though there was snow on the ground and no game, we sat by the window and enjoyed sandwiches and drinks.

As we ate, we overlooked the oldest baseball stadium in the country (opened in 1912). Some of the greatest baseball players of all time once played here. It was such a cool experience!

Go Sox!
